This adventure provides a basic understanding of boating terminology and tasks that will enable the participant to be useful “crew” when going out on the water with friends and family.


Whether paddling a Kayak or a Board – this is for all you gals who have wanted to try one or the other or both but either didn’t have the equipment or access to a top notch ACA certified instructors. Rarely does a long walk down the beach or a boat ride with a new friend turn into a predator/prey scenario. And yet, it does happen. Thus, being aware means never being afraid. This adventure will teach you basic awareness, handy tools to never be without and simple mental and physical tactics you can use if you find yourself face to face with a human predator.

Near the sea, with the ocean breeze you will learn gentle exercise composed of movements that are repeated a number of times, often stretching the body, increasing fluid movement (blood, synovial and lymph) and building awareness of how the body moves through space. A beautiful introduction to a 3,000 year old system of self healing.
